VirtualPaint^® Booth

    

The VirtualPaint^® is a revolutionary way to train spray technicians.  Combining virtual reality and computer simulation, the VirtualPaint^® allows technicians of any experience level to practice and continually improve their spray performance.  The use of virtual reality means no paint, wastes, or extra preparation or clean-up time is necessary.  Painters can now train without generating any hazardous air pollutants or environmental wastes.  With the instrumented spray gun, technicians are able to learn how to set up a spray gun and continuously use effective and efficient techniques.  The most beneficial factor is the use of the accumulation mode which shows variations of colors to represent different paint thicknesses.  This mode provides immediate feedback to the technician regarding their overlap, overspray and uniformity of the spray pattern.  For more information, visit http://paint.iwrc.org or call the Iowa Waste Reduction Center at 877/777-0791.

• Wednesday, June 18th from 2:00pm - 5:30pm.
• Thursday, June 19th from 2:00pm - 5:30pm.
