Coming by Airplane:

From the Harrisburg International Airport, you can drive to the hotel in approximately 15 minutes (~11 miles). There is no hotel shuttle to the Crowne Plaza Hotel. You can rent a car, take a taxi, or take a bus to the hotel. All ground transportation options are found on the first floor of the airport's Multi-Modal Transportation Facility (MMTF). To drive from the airport, go west on ramp toward Airport Conn., stay straight to go onto PA-283W, merge onto I-283N toward Harrisburg, merge onto I-83S via Exit 3A on the left toward Harrisburg, take Exit 43 toward State Capitol/2nd Street, turn slight left onto S 2nd Street.
To take the bus from the airport, you can take the Route 7 Middletown. The airport is the #7 stop and Market Square Transportation Center (next to Crowne Plaza) is the #2 stop. From the airport to Market Square: 10:20am, 11:55am, 12:43am, 1:20pm, 2:03pm, 3:48pm, 5:45pm, 6:08pm, 7:05pm, 8:42pm. From Market Square to the airport: 5:30am, 6:30am, 8:00am, 8:35am, 9:25am, 10:10am, 10:50am, 12:25pm, 1:00pm, 1:50pm, 5:40pm, 6:15pm, and 7:30pm. Bus cost is approximately $2.
If you want to take a cab from the airport the fare is approximately $20 one way. Check back soon for a "ride sharing board" if folks want to plan to share cabs to and from the airport.

Coming by Train:

From the AMTRAK train station, you can walk to the hotel in less than 5 minutes. Start out southwest on Chestnut Street toward S. Dewberry Street, turn right on S 2nd Street.

Coming by Car:

From the east (Philadelphia)--Take PA Turnpike/I-76W to Exit 247. Take Route 283N to I-83S. Follow I-83S to Exit 43 (2nd Street).
From the west (Pittsburgh)--Take PA Turnpike/I-76E TO Exit 242 (2nd Street).
